Seagate introduced a mobile external hard disc, GoFlex Satellite. Hard disc can be accessed tablet or smartphone without the need for wires. Seagate GoFlex Satellite using the wireless local area network feature to connect to these devices
“GoFlex Satellite is an external hard disc without 1st cable in the world,” stated Senior Vice President & Managing Director Asia Pacific & Japan, Seagate Bangseng Tea in the launching in capital of Indonesia, Thursday (23/02/2012).
Banseng revealed that people like to access the information “wherever and whenever”. According to him, ten years more than sixty percent of information will be in the cloud.
Seagate GoFlex not need internet, information connectivity, and absolutely no need for cables. The tool can be used on Apple and Android mobile devices. Seagate GoFlex can be used for more than twenty-five hours with the mobile device because it has a rechargeable electric battery.
Seagate GoFlex can also be paired with 3 mobile devices at once (simultaneously) as tablets, smartphones, and laptop computer, so that each can access content in the memory device.
The device is priced at Rp 1.8 million for a capability of five hundred gigabyte and to access the user can use any web browser or GoFlex Media App can be downloaded for free.
